Recent research commissioned by the St Albans City of Expertise Group (which may be found here) shows that numerous local businesses are intending to enter new markets over the next 2 years – great news for the local economy.

Expanding into new markets does, however, carry risks that companies may inadvertently end up infringing intellectual property rights owned by a third party, where those rights don’t extend to the UK but do cover the new markets into which companies are expanding. Read more…
