There is an opportunity for a legal secretary to join our Team in St Albans.  Our Team Secretaries work together to provide support to Solicitors in our Residential Conveyancing, Commercial Real Estate, Corporate & Commercial, Private Client and Family departments.  The role would suit a legal secretary with experience in a number of our practice areas who is looking to utilise their legal practice knowledge, audio transcription and administrative skills at a highly reputable law firm.

Key Responsibilities:

– Document production and amendment

– Copy typing

– Responsible for assisting fee earners to keep up-to-date correspondence files and case management system

– Opening and closing client files following firm procedures

– Supporting fee earners with administration

Person Specification:

– Fast and accurate audio transcription

– Competent Word Processing skills

– Accuracy and attention to detail

– Works well in a team

– Demonstrates a helpful and willing attitude

– Previous legal secretarial experience – particularly residential conveyancing
