Legal Secretary – Commercial Real Estate – Luton and St Albans – Full Time

We are pleased to offer the opportunity to join our Commercial Real Estate department as a legal secretary.  We have a vacancy in our St Albans office and our Luton Office.  The successful candidate will join a team of experienced secretaries who will provide support and on-the-job training in addition to an initial structured induction programme.

Our secretaries provide transcription and administrative support to our team of busy Commercial Real Estate Solicitors.

Key Responsibilities:

– Document production and amendment

– Copy typing

– Responsible for assisting fee earners to keep up-to-date correspondence files and electronic document management system

– Opening and closing client files following firm procedures

– Supporting fee earners with administration

Person and Skill Specification:

– Some previous legal secretarial experience required – a legal secretarial qualification will be a distinct advantage

– Touch typist

– Some experience of audio transcription required

– Confident Word Processing skills

– Accuracy and attention to detail

– Works well in a team

– Willing to learn

– Positive and enthusiastic attitude
