We are pleased to offer the opportunity to join our Commercial Real Estate department as a legal secretary.  The role may suit a secretary at the early stage of their career.  The successful candidate will join a team of very experienced secretaries who will provide support and on-the-job training in addition to an initial structured induction programme.

Our secretaries provide transcription and administrative support to our team of busy Commercial Real Estate Solicitors.  With increased experience and confidence there may be opportunities to be in contact with our clients and other third parties involved in our commercial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

– Document production and amendment

– Copy typing

– Responsible for assisting fee earners to keep up-to-date correspondence files and electronic document management system

– Opening and closing client files following firm procedures

– Supporting fee earners with administration

Person and Skill Specification:

– Some previous legal secretarial experience required – a legal secretarial qualification will be a distinct advantage

– Touch typist

– Some experience of audio transcription required

– Confident Word Processing skills

– Accuracy and attention to detail

– Works well in a team

– Willing to learn

– Positive and enthusiastic attitude
