It is important for charities to regularly review governance structures to ensure they are in the best possible position to achieve goals and retain trust. For this, it is crucial that charity workers and trustees develop and maintain an understanding of the  Charity Governance Code to help their charity remain robust and fit for purpose. At our next charity update seminar on Thursday 25th April WMT Partner, Elizabeth Irvine, will discuss the principles of good governance in line with the Governance Code. Financial risk management is an important element of good governance and so we will also focus on how to ensure internal control systems are set up to best protect charity funds. The event is free to attend and open to all charity leaders, trustees and employees. A pastry breakfast and refreshments will be provided. If you would like to join us for this event, please click ‘register now’ below or call Charlie Read on 01727 808187. Please feel free to forward this invitation to other charities or connections who you think may be interested.
