Sherrards Private Client department has been ranked as a ‘Tier One’ department in industry recognised legal services guide Legal 500 referring to them as a ‘first rate’ team.

The team lead by Solicitor and Head of the department Nicole Marmor, has been ranked for their work across trusts, personal tax, and probate services. The department was  recognised for its strong non-domiciled client base as well as excellent client care. Nicole, alongside Senior Solicitor Carolle Harris, was commended for combining ‘technical excellence with the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively’.

Commenting on the ranking, Nicole Marmor says: “As a team, we are very proud to have been ranked within the top tier of  Legal 500 for 2016. The firm’s Company and Commercial department have been ranked in Tier 2 in Beds, Bucks, Herts and Middlesex for another year running, with Partner Leigh Head receiving significant praise for his notable strength within the media and entertainment sector. Additionally, Sherrards’ Commercial Litigation team were commended for their ‘professional’ practice in franchising disputes, property related disputes and banking litigation, identifying Partner Paul Marmor for leading the firm’s international litigation offering.

In other areas, the Employment department were ranked in Tier 2, HR Partner Joanne Perry has been picked up and referred to as a ‘real asset’ whilst also commending Head of Employment Mark Fellows for continued high level of work. Commercial Property and TMT (Technology, Media and Telecoms) also received rankings in Tiers 3 and 4.
